Sailor's 1911 Ringless fountain pen in black, with black ion-plated trim. The Ringless model doesn't have the decorative cap ring, giving a simpler, minimalist look, and this version adds ion plating to the trim and nib, for less contrast, and a darker style. Screw-on cap. 21k gold nib in a wide choice of sizes.
Named after the company's founding year, the 1911 range was made to maintain the standards of quality and craftsmanship that had made Sailor so well respected from their beginnings. The rounded ends give the 1911 a more classic 'cigar' shape than the Pro Gear range, for those who prefer a more traditional look.
Note: The nib, along with the trim, has a black ion plating. Sailor recommend only using their own inks with this pen, as other inks could damage the nib's coating.
Supplied in a smart gift box with a Sailor converter for use with bottled ink. Also takes Sailor ink cartridges.
